MyStake, Velobet and Goldenbet: Santeda licences and the Swedish ban

Which company is named in the records behind MyStake, Velobet and Goldenbet?

The company named in the records is Santeda International B.V., a Curaçao-registered entity carrying registration number 151296 and holding business-to-consumer online gaming licence OGL/2024/1798/1048 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA, the island’s gambling regulator). Both the registration number and the licence reference appear in the CGA online gaming licence register dated 21 September 2026 and on the CGA licence certificate: Santeda International B.V., both checked by this desk on 29 September 2026 and rechecked on 30 September 2026.

One caveat belongs with that registration number: it is a regulator disclosure. No independent corporate-registry extract for Santeda International B.V. was obtained for this page, so the company details rest on what the CGA publishes.

The relationship between the brands and the entity differs by brand and by source, which is why the table below separates them rather than merging them into a single ownership statement. A domain listed on a licence certificate, or named in a foreign regulator’s decision, is a source-scoped record entry; it is not a finding about beneficial ownership or control.

What does the Curaçao licence record for Santeda International B.V. show?

Two official displays of the same licence do not match. On the certificate, OGL/2024/1798/1048 is displayed as “Active”, with a certificate grant date of 14 August 2024. In the CGA register dated 21 September 2026, the same licence is recorded at page 19, row 550 with the status “Assessment in progress”, an issue date of 24 June 2025 and an expiry field of 24 December 2025.

That side-by-side comparison is our own cross-check of the two official sources, not a regulator statement. We keep the conflict rather than resolving it: the register status and the certificate status are separate observations, and only the CGA can say which display governs. A dated snapshot is also not a guarantee of the position today.

In plain terms, an “Assessment in progress” entry indicates the regulator records the file as being under assessment on the date of that register; it is not published as a revocation, a suspension or a surrender, and it is not a statement that the holder has been found to have done anything wrong. An expiry field dated in the past on a register published nine months later is the kind of inconsistency that needs clarification from the issuing authority; the mechanics of why certificate views and register rows diverge are set out in our explainer on certificate versus register in the Curaçao licence check.

No change of licence holder for OGL/2024/1798/1048 is established in the records reviewed for this page, checked on 29 September 2026. A Curaçao licence, whatever its status, is also not an authorisation to serve customers in the United Kingdom, Sweden or any other country.

Which domains are on the Santeda Curaçao certificate, and which are not?

The certificate checked on 29 September 2026 lists 13 distinct domains, and mystake.com is not among them. Counting the hostnames on that certificate is our own arithmetic on the published list: bakubet.com, cosmobet.com, cosmobet.one, goldenbet.com, goldenbet2.com, megajeet.com, rolletto.cc, rolletto.com, rolletto.win, rolletto1.com, velobet.com, velobet.win and zizobet.com.

Grouping those 13 hostnames into seven name families is also our grouping, not an ownership finding: Rolletto (4), Cosmobet (2), Goldenbet (2), Velobet (2), Bakubet (1), Megajeet (1) and Zizobet (1). A domain count is not a brand count, mirrors are included, and the list is a snapshot rather than a permanent inventory.

Why did Sweden prohibit Santeda International B.V. in 2024?

Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority) issued a prohibition against Santeda International B.V. on 11 June 2024, recorded in the decision as an immediate prohibition, and the jurisdiction-specific issue set out in that decision is the absence of a Swedish licence. The decision names five domains: cosmobet.com, goldenbet.com, mystake.com, rolletto.com and velobet.com, according to the Swedish prohibition: Santeda decision, checked on 29 September 2026.

That is a licensing point about the Swedish market on that date and should not be generalised to other countries. It is also a historical list, not a current inventory of any operator’s websites.

The same decision cites a historical offshore licence for Santeda International B.V., ALSI-072403002-F17, from what it describes as the Anjouan licensing authority. This desk has not verified that reference with the issuer, so it stands as a third-regulator reference recorded on 11 June 2024 rather than a current licence verification.

For MyStake specifically, the qualified finding is this: the Swedish decision of 11 June 2024 identifies mystake.com under Santeda International B.V., while the Santeda certificate checked on 29 September 2026 does not list mystake.com. Who operates mystake.com today was not resolved in the records reviewed, and this page makes no claim about it. Other sites display different licence references for MyStake; those references are outside the records checked here and are not assessed.

What does the UK reporting say about the Santeda-linked website group?

The UK-facing reporting is about a group of websites, not about a single brand. Investigate Europe, in reporting dated 1 April 2026, described a Santeda-linked UK-facing website group of at least eight websites and cited Similarweb data putting an estimated 2.3 million unique monthly visitors from the UK across those sites for the period November 2025 to January 2026. That figure is a reported estimate of website visitors, not a count of depositing players, and cross-site duplication is possible. It is a group-level number and cannot be allocated to MyStake, Velobet or Goldenbet individually.

The same reporting includes a response from Upgaming, which denies ownership, denies operation and denies wrongdoing, and states that its B2B relationship ended on 30 March 2026, according to Investigate Europe. No published response from Santeda International B.V. itself appears in the sources reviewed for this page.

Separately, Santeda International B.V. appears in the September 2026 Casino Secrets reporting on offshore gambling licensing and the Curaçao regulator, as published by the Guardian on 26 September 2026. MyStake, Velobet and Goldenbet are brands directly discussed in that reporting and in the Investigate Europe piece. Appearing in an investigation is not a finding by any authority, and the reviewed records do not establish a link between the Casino Secrets material and the 2024 Swedish decision.

On the official side, the Swedish regulator Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority) issued a prohibition against Santeda International B.V. on 11 June 2024, with immediate effect in the decision and five named domains. The jurisdiction-specific issue in that decision is the absence of a Swedish licence; it does not, by itself, say anything about any other country. The decision also cites a historical Anjouan licence reference, ALSI-072403002-F17, which we have not checked with the issuing authority.

Claim versus evidence: MyStake, Velobet and Goldenbet

What is still unresolved

• Who currently operates mystake.com. The Swedish decision of 11 June 2024 identified the domain under Santeda International B.V., and the certificate we checked on 29 September 2026 does not list it. The reviewed records do not resolve the present position.
• How the Curaçao Gaming Authority will resolve the “Assessment in progress” entry for OGL/2024/1798/1048 and the 24 December 2025 expiry field shown in the register dated 21 September 2026.
• Whether the Anjouan licence cited by Sweden was ever verified with the issuing authority.
• Whether the at-least-eight-site group described by Investigate Europe maps exactly onto the domains on the Santeda certificate; the publisher defines the group, and we have not matched the two lists.
• No independent corporate-registry extract for Santeda International B.V. was obtained; the registration details come from regulator disclosure.

Why these records matter

For people in the UK checking a casino, the practical point is that an offshore licence is not an authorisation to serve customers in another country, and a dated register entry is a snapshot rather than a guarantee of the current state. A brand name shown on a site, a licence number printed in a footer and the entity named in a regulator’s register are three separate things that have to be matched one by one.

For regulators and journalists, the checkable items are the register locator (page 19, row 550 of the register dated 21 September 2026), the domain list on the certificate, and the five domains named in the 2024 Swedish decision. A prohibition, an investigation or a reported estimate is not a conviction or a final penalty.

How to check the Santeda Curaçao licence yourself

1. Open the CGA online gaming licence register and search for the licence number OGL/2024/1798/1048; note the status field and the date printed on the register itself.
2. Open the CGA licence certificate for Santeda International B.V. and record the status shown there and the domains listed, with the date you checked.
3. Compare the two. If they differ, record both observations and the dates rather than treating either as the single answer.
4. Check whether the exact domain you are looking at appears on the certificate list. A similar name or a mirror is not the same as a listed domain.
5. Read the Spelinspektionen prohibition decision of 11 June 2024 for the five domains named there and for the grounds stated, remembering that the decision concerns Sweden only.
6. Keep dated screenshots or PDF copies; registers and certificates are updated, and an undated claim about licence status cannot be verified later.
